This study involved patients with previously treated non-small cell lung cancer who were divided into two separate treatment groups. Group A consisted of 25 patients with a median age of 63 years and 72% male. Group B had 25 patients with a median age of 60 years and 80% male.

Group A was treated with the chemotherapy agents docetaxel and oxaliplatin. Group B was treated with docetaxel only.

Maximum toxicity grade was 4 for both treatment groups. In group A, grade 4 toxicities included neutropenia, febrile neutropenia, diarrhea, and fatigue. Group B reported the same toxicities as well as nausea and vomiting.

The reported median overall survival was 11.0 months for group A and 7.1 months for group B.
