Description:
Patients:
This study involved 45 male patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer who had been previously treated with docetaxel. The median age of the group was 65 years with a range of 49-78.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agent docetaxel.

Toxicities:
The maximum reported toxicity grade was 4, which included 3 cases of neutropenia, 2 cases of thrombocytopenia, and 1 case each of nausea/vomiting and hypertension. Also, 8 cases of grade 1-3 peripheral neuropathy were reported.

Results:
The reported median overall survival was 13.0 months.
