Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 25 recurrent glioblastoma patients who had been previously treated. The median patient age was 55 years and 60% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the biological therapy agent called nintedanib, an angiokinase inhibitor that interferes with tumor growth.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 1-2 and included fatigue, diarrhea, and anorexia.

Results:
The median overall survival was 6 months. The median progression-free survival was 1 month.
