Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 52 hepatocellular carcinoma patients. The median patient age was 71.3 years and 78.8% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with a method of radiation therapy called stereotactic body radiotherapy.

Toxicities:
There were two treatment-related deaths reported in this study due to gastrointestinal problems. Grade 4 liver failure was also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 17 months.
