Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 41 recurrent ovarian cancer patients who had prior platinum-based chemotherapy. The average patient age was 58.2 years.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agent docetaxel and the biologic therapy agent bevacizumab.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included grade 3-4 fatigue, neutropenia, and gastrointestinal toxicity.

Results:
The median overall survival was 12.4 months.
