Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 37 recurrent glioblastoma patients with a median age of 56 years; 32% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agent temozolomide.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included lymphopenia and thrombocytopenia. Grade 3 liver toxicity, fatigue, and infection were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 7 months.
