Description:
Patients:
This study involved 21 metastatic urothelial carcinoma patients who had received two prior platinum-based chemotherapy regimens. The median patient age was 64 years and 61.9% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents paclitaxel and cisplatin.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were grade 4 neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. Grade 3 nerve toxicity, fatigue, and diarrhea were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 9 months.
