Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 40 glioblastoma patients. The median patient age was 55 years and 65% were male.

Treatment:
Patients received radiation therapy, chemotherapy with temozolomide, and biologic therapy with bevacizumab.

Toxicities:
There was one treatment-related death due to an unknown cause. Grade 4 thrombocytopenia and pulmonary embolism, and grade 3 neutropenia and seizures were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 19 months.
