Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 48 advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients. The median patient age was 61 years and 89.6% were male.

Treatment:
Patients received radiation therapy and chemotherapy with vinorelbine and cisplatin.

Toxicities:
There were 4 treatment-related deaths reported with causes including heart attack. Grade 4 febrile neutropenia, infection, and diarrhea were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 27.9 months.
