Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 42 previously treated epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer patients with a median age of 61 years.

Treatment:
Patients received a combination chemotherapy/biologic therapy agent called AEZS-108 (Zoptarelin Doxorubicin Acetate), which specifically targets cancer cells to deliver the chemotherapeutic agent.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included neutropenia and lymphopenia. Grade 3 abdominal pain and grade 2 alopecia were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 12.2 months.
