Description:
Patients:
This phase 3 study involved 263 metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer patients who had received prior docetaxel-based chemotherapy. The average patient age was 69.2 years.

Treatment:
Patients received hormone therapy with enzalutamide.

Toxicities:
Treatment-related deaths due to unspecified causes were reported. Grade 3 or higher fatigue, back pain, and anemia were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 17.4 months.
