Description:
Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 33 frail, elderly, wild-type KRAS metastatic colorectal cancer patients. The median patient age was 81 years (range 73-89) and 66.7% were male.

Treatment:
Patients received biologic therapy with panitumumab, a monoclonal antibody specific to the EGFR protein.

Toxicities:
There were 3 reported adverse event-related deaths. Grade 3 rash, diarrhea, and fatigue were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 7.1 months.
