Patients: This Phase II study involved 97 patients with metastatic colorectal cancer.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of several drugs –UFT (uracil and tegafur), Leucovorin, and Mitomycin C (mutamycin, mitozytrex).

Toxicity: Severe (grade 3-4) toxicities included: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, and thrombocytopenia.

Results: Overall median survival was 13 months.
