Description:
Patients: This Phase I/II study involved 41 (Phase II) patients with advanced (stage IIIB or IV) non-small cell lung cancer.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of three drugs, paclitaxel (taxol), gemcitabine (gemzar) and vinorelbine (navelbine).

Toxicity: Toxicities included hematological (grade 3-4), neurological toxicity (grade 2), stomatitis (grade 1), transaminase (grade 1-2), asthenia (grade1-3), and vomiting (grade 1).

Results: Median survival for the Phase II patients was 62 weeks (14.3 months).
