Patients: Thirty patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme were enrolled in this Phase II study.

Treatment: Treatment consisted of two chemotherapy drugs, ACNU and cisplatin (platinol) and radiation therapy.

Toxicity: Grade 3 and 4 toxicities included leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, and anemia. Additional toxicities (grades 1, 2 or 3) included nausea, vomiting, renal toxicity, and hepatic toxicity.

Results: The median overall survival was 14.9 months.
