Cancer and Spiritual PhytoEssencing
Madeleen Herreshoff is the Director of CanHelp. As a breast cancer survivor herself and patient advocate, she has helped thousands of cancer patients navigate the increasing complex maze of conventional, integrative, and alternative therapies. On March 4th Madeleen is sponsoring a Free TeleSeminar "Cancer, Deep Inner Conflict and Essential Oils" with Bruce Berkowsky, N.M.D., M.H., H.M.C. In this teleseminar Dr. Berkowsky will discuss the important role of “Spiritual PhytoEssencing" for cancer patients.
In a recent interview, Madeleen explained that Berkowsky’s approach is not merely aromatherapy, but the application of specific blends based on homeopathy, herbal and Chinese medicine. The purpose of the blends is to allow people to feel better emotionally and spiritually. Madeleen suggested that this can create a bridge to connect the patient with their own healing potential. Obviously, any modality that can relax and emotionally strengthen a patient dealing with cancer can be of value.
The blends are applied to various parts of the body such as the wrist, Achilles heal, or just below the navel. If the blend “resonates” with the patient, the person should feel lighter, more expansive and relaxed. Berkowsky often interviews patients for up to two to three hours to tailor the blend to the patient’s individual needs.
