Description:

Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 32 women with ovarian cancer that had progressed after prior platinum-and/or taxane-based chemotherapy. The average patient age was 53.6 years.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents docetaxel and irinotecan.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included neutropenia, leukopenia, and diarrhea. Grade 1-2 alopecia was also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 10.3 months.
