Description:

Patients:
This study involved 13 previously-treated advanced urothelial cancer patients with an average age of 65.2 years; 11 of the patients were male.

Treatment:
Patients in this study were treated with the chemotherapy agent gemcitabine.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included anemia and thrombocytopenia. Grade 1-2 alopecia was experienced by all patients.

Results:
The median overall survival was 7.3 months.
