Description:

Patients:
This study involved 19 patients with previously treated advanced melanoma. The median patient age was 63 years and 63% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents oxaliplatin and docetaxel, and the immune therapy agent GM-CSF, which strengthens the immune system.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4. Grade 3-4 adverse events included neutropenia and fatigue.

Results:
The median overall survival was 5.4 months.
