Description:

Patients: This phase 2 study involved 50 patients with recurrent glioblastoma. There were 31 men and 19 women. Their median age was 56.8 years, ranging from 30 to 76.

Treatment: Patients were treated with Fotemustine, a chemotherapy drug.

Toxicity: Grade 3 thrombocytopenia was reported in four patients. Grade 3 anemia and lymphopenia were each reported in one patient. Grade 4 neutropenia was also reported in one patient.

Results: The median overall survival was 24.5 months, ranging from 6.9 to 86.4.
