Description:

Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 36 previously treated cutaneous T-cell lymphoma patients. The median patient age was 65 years and 69.4% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents gemcitabine and bexarotene.

Toxicities:
There were two deaths reported due to infection and other unspecified treatment-related toxicity. Grade 4 fatigue, diarrhea, and kidney failure were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 21.2 months.
