Description:

Patients: This Phase II study involved 91 patients with advanced colorectal cancer.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of two chemotherapy drugs – irinotecan (CPT-11, camptosar) and raltitrexed.

Toxicity: Grade 3-4 toxicities included: diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, transaminase increase, stomatitis, febrile neutropenia, anemia, and asthenia.

Results: The median overall survival was 15.6 months.
