Description:

Patients:
This study involved 31 relapsed or refractory B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients. The median patient age was 63 years and 68% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were given radioimmunotherapy with 131I-rituximab (the biologic therapy agent rituximab that is labeled with a radioactive molecule to cause cancer cell death).

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and anemia.

Results:
The median overall survival was 48.2 months.
