Description:

Patients:
This study involved 28 metastatic urothelial carcinoma patients who were previously treated with gemcitabine and cisplatin. The median patient age was 64 years and 75% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy regimen called MVAC, which consists of methotrexate, vinblastine, doxorubicin, and cisplatin.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were grade 4 neutropenia and anemia. Grade 1-2 anorexia and nausea were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 11.3 months.
