Description:

Patients:
This study involved 27 previously treated primary central nervous system lymphoma patients. The median patient age was 53.5 years and 62.9% were male.

Treatment:
Patients received chemotherapy with pemetrexed and biologic therapy with rituximab.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 3 and included leukocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, and neutropenia. Grade 1-2 nausea/vomiting and stomatitis (inflammation of mouth and lips) were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 11.2 months.
