Description:

Patients: This Phase II study involved 39 patients diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Twenty-nine patients were men, and ten were women. The median age was 62. Metastatic sites included lung, adrenal gland, and liver.

Treatment: The treatment involved two chemotherapeutic agents: gemcitabine and paclitaxel.

Toxicity: Grade 3-4 toxicities included: leucopenia, neutropenia, and dyspnea.

Results: The median overall survival was 10.4 months.
