Description:

Patients:
This study involved 36 recurrent glioblastoma patients. The median patient age was 56 years and 22 were men.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with radiation therapy called fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, and the chemotherapy agent temozolomide.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicity was grade 3 thrombocytopenia. Moderate to severe fatigue was also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 9.7 months.
