Description:

Patients:
This study involved 41 patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The median patient age was 65 years and 44% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the immunotherapy agent interleukin-4 (IL-4), which stimulates the immune system to attack cancer cells.

Toxicities:
The most severe adverse event was one case of grade 4 vomiting. Grade 3 headache, fatigue, congestive heart failure (not leading to death), and swelling were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 27.6 months.
