Description:

Patients:
This study involved 14 patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma who had relapsed after stem cell transplantation. The median patient age was 57 years and 9 were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with bryostatin 1, a biologic therapy agent that targets protein kinase C in order to interfere with cancer cell growth, and the chemotherapy agent vincristine.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicity was one case of grade 4 neutropenia. Grade 3 leukopenia was also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 21.4 months.
