Description:

Patients:
This study involved 48 advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer patients with a median age of 61.5 years. 48% of the patients were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with a combination of chemotherapy agents called FOLFOX4, which includes oxaliplatin, levoforinate, and 5-fluorouracil.

Toxicities:
The maximum toxicity reported was grade 4 neutropenia. Grade 3 leucopenia and fatigue were also reported.

Results:
The median progression-free survival and median overall survival was 5.6 and 19.6 months, respectively.
