Description:

Patients:
This study involved 157 metastatic urothelial cancer patients with a median age of 60 years. No gender information was provided.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy regimen called MVAC, which consists of methotrexate, vinblastine, doxorubicin, and cisplatin.

Toxicities:
There were two treatment-related deaths due to sepsis (infection). Grade 3-4 neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and mucosal inflammation were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 19.5 months.
