Description:

Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 43 metastatic colorectal cancer patients. The median patient age was 54 years and 60.5% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents S-1, irinotecan and oxaliplatin.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included neutropenia, leukopenia, and anemia. Grade 3 diarrhea and vomiting were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 19.2 months.
