Description:

Patients: This Phase II study involved a total of 175 patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer. Patients were divided into three groups. Group A contained 62 patients. Group B contained 58 patients. Group C contained 55 patients.

Treatment: Patients in Group C were administered two chemotherapy drugs – cisplatin and vinorelbine, plus chest radiotherapy.

Toxicity: Grade 4 toxicities for patients in Group C consisted of hematologic, nausea, and vomiting.

Results: Median survival for patients in Group C was 17.7 months.
