Description:

Patients: This Phase II trial involved a total of 55 patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. There were 34 men and 21 women. The median age was 51. Forty-eight patients had prior surgery.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of chemotherapy – Oxaliplatin and Irinotecan.

Toxicity: Grade 3 or 4 toxicities included neutropenia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and thrombocytopenia.

Results: The median overall survival was 16.4 months.
