Description:

Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 35 advanced urothelial carcinoma patients. The median patient age was 68 years and 82.9% were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents gemcitabine, carboplatin, and docetaxel.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included neutropenia, anemia, and diarrhea. Grade 3 anorexia and thrombocytopenia were also reported.

Results:
The median overall survival was 13.1 months.
