Description:

Patients:
This study involved 127 elderly, newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients. The median patient age was 68 years (range of 65-76) and 56% were male.

Treatment:
Patients received radiation therapy and chemotherapy with temozolomide.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included grade 3/4 thrombocytopenia, lymphocytopenia, neurologic disorders, and fatigue.

Results:
The median overall survival was 12.5 months.
