Description:

Patients: This phase II study involved thirty-nine patients with advanced colorectal cancer. Most (30) of the patients were men. The median age was 73 years, ranging from 49 to 84 years.

Treatment: Patients were treated with the biological therapy cetuximab.

Toxicity: Two grade 4 allergic reactions were reported. The most common toxicity was skin rash, which was reported in 85% of patients. Grade 3 skin rash was reported in 4 patients. There was one report of grade 3 fever.

Results: The median overall survival time was 12.3 months.
