Description:

Patients: This Phase I study involved 19 patients with metastatic breast cancer. Patients had been pretreated with anthracycline-based therapy.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of three drugs – oral eniluracil and oral 5-fluorouracil (5-FU, adrucil) combined with docetaxel (taxotere).

Toxicity: Grade 3 toxicities included: mucosistis, diarrhea, myalgias, and excessive tearing.

Results: Median survival was not discussed.
